Ghouls, ghosts, and Girl Scouts alike gathered at Camp Arnaz this past weekend to celebrate the Halloween festivities. “Tent or Treat” took place on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and offered families an array of interactive activities. Camp Arnaz was transformed into a frightful festival, decorated with cobwebs, ghosts, and skeletons to heighten the spooky spirits of the attendees.

Vendors and Troops tabled around the campsite to hand out sweet treats and smiles for all who attended with offerings such as: face-painting, lawn games, and a hay maze. The Camp Arnaz Lodge became an epicenter of exceptional arts and crafts where families were able to lounge, create, and watch a screening of Hotel Transylvania. In addition to this, Camp Arnaz employees opened the Adventure Range for guests to shoot slingshots, as well as the horse paddocks for photo-ops with their four-legged friends.

The Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast would like to thank Camp Arnaz’s staff for hosting this event for the community. We would also like to thank the families and girls that made this a sold-out event possible. We look forward to seeing you all at next year’s “Tent or Treat,” and even sooner as “Winter Wonderland” approaches in December.
