Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast was formed in October 2007 by the merger of two great Girl Scout Councils with rich histories:  Girl Scouts of Monterey Bay and Tres Condados Girl Scout Council. Chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA to provide Girl Scouting in the counties of Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura, GSCCC encompasses some of the most beautiful and environmentally significant parts of the country.  The council has a growing membership of over 8,800 girls, and over 5,600 adult volunteers who are the heartbeat of Girl Scouting along the central coast.
