Girl Scout Troop 60729 used their cookie earnings to purchase “I am Strong” socks to include in chemotherapy care packages for patients at Westlake/UCLA Treatment Center, in honor of the grandma of one of the girls in the troop.

The care packages included items such as lip balm, hand lotion, throat lozenges, tea bags, hand wipes, water bottles, and magazines.
 
The troop delivered the packages after their bridging ceremony for the 1st graders.
