Cookie season is fast approaching, and so is the Cookie Pro Contest for 2019! This year, Girl Scouts has partnered up with the DC Super Hero Girls™ to help cookie entrepreneurs across the country unleash the power of a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-Taker, Leader) and make this the best season yet!

The Girl Scout Cookie program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world, and it helps girls learn essential skills to start their own lifetime of leadership. These skills include goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.

By sharing their unique cookie stories, twenty-four girls will be selected to win an all-expenses paid trip to Warner Bros. Studios. There they will go on an exciting behind-the-scenes VIP tour, attend a special Girl Scout Cookie Pro recognition event, take part in activities featuring the inspiring DC Super Hero Girls™, and meet successful entrepreneurs and business leaders.

All registered Girl Scout Cookie Program participants who are selling cookies during the 2018/2019 season will be eligible to participate. Additionally, every girl who enters GSUSA’s Cookie Pro Contest 2019 will receive instructions by email on how to unlock a limited-edition Cookie Pro 2019 patch for optional purchase. The contest will be open from January 2, 2019, until April 30, 2019.

So, how can girls enter to win? A complete entry consists of answering a set of required questions, uploading a personal photo, and creating a mini-graphic novel that tells your unique cookie story. Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts will submit a one-page mini graphic novel, while Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts will complete two-pages.

For your story, create a frame-by-frame outline that tells us about your cookie season. This could include how you and your troop prepared for your sale, how you plan on using your earnings, what you learned, or how you used your G.I.R.L. potential to manage your cookie sale with the dedication of a real-life super hero.
