CHANNEL YOUR INNER ENTREPRENEUR
The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurship program in the country, full of opportunities for girls to gain important knowledge they can use all their life. Girl Scouts who participate in the Cookie Program learn important business skills like goal-setting, decision-making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.
Being an entrepreneur isn’t just about making money. It’s also about providing people with a product or service. Running a business can be a powerful way to make the world we live in a better place. The Program helps shape tomorrow’s leaders.
The cookies inside the box are super tasty, but it’s the amazing experiences that happen outside the cookie box that make Girl Scout Cookies® extra special.
When customers make a Girl Scout Cookie purchase, they’re helping the next generation of young female entrepreneurs get an important taste of what it takes to be successful—teamwork, planning, and a positive outlook (and that’s just the beginning).
Because proceeds from your purchase stay local, you help the awesome entrepreneurs who sell Girl Scout Cookies in your community power new experiences for themselves and their troop.
WHEN CUSTOMERS BUY GIRL SCOUT COOKIES, THEY HELP YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS DEVELOP FIVE ESSENTIAL LIFE SKILLS
Skill #1: Goal Setting
Girl Scouts learn how to set goals and create a plan to reach them, enabling amazing experiences for themselves and their troops all year long, while helping others too.
Skill #2: Decision Making
Girl Scouts learn to make decisions on their own and as a team, whether it’s how to run and promote their cookie sale, interact with customers, or spend their earnings.
Skill #3: Money Management
Girl Scouts learn to expand their money smarts while running their own cookie business and create a budget to fund the experiences they want to share as a troop.
Skill #4: People Skills
Girl Scouts find their voice and build confidence through customer interactions, developing valuable skills that will help them succeed in school, in business, and in life.
Skill #5: Business Ethics
Girl Scouts learn to act ethically—lessons that will stay with them for a lifetime of leadership and success.

GET YOUR FAVORITE COOKIES THROUGH DOORDASH
We are happy to announce that this year the council is partnering with DoorDash to offer zero-contact home delivery for their cookie customers. Girl Scouts are pivoting to offer new ways to sell cookies in a contactless environment. This new partnership with DoorDash ensures that Girl Scouts will reach consumers on their technology platform!
Cookie consumers will now be able to enjoy delicious Girl Scout cookies without having to leave their homes. Get all your favorite cookies such as: Toast-Yay!™, Thin Mints®, Caramel deLites®, Peanut Butter Patties®, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Shortbread cookies, Caramel Chocolate Chip, Lemonades®, and the new Adventurefuls™ delivered straight to your door!
Though DoorDash will be handling the deliveries, Girl Scouts are still involved and will still be developing their entrepreneurial skills. This will serve as a hands-on experience in managing e-commerce. Local Girl Scouts will track and fulfill orders, manage inventory, and more, all while using Doordash’s back-end technology. Now that’s cool!

IN THE SPIRIT OF GIVING
Community members who are interested in supporting local Girl Scouts but would rather skip the sweets may also opt to donate cookies to local first responders or members of the military through the Care to Share Donation Program! This virtual sale is a way for girls to sell cookies as a service project without having to handle or store the actual product. Proceeds from Care to Share donations still benefit Girl Scout troops and council, while also providing sweet treats to be included in care packages sent overseas or donated to our local police and fire stations. Customers can make a direct virtual donation at www.girlscoutsccc.org/caretoshare.
