Each year, Women of Distinction brings our community together to celebrate the individuals who make a lasting impact in the lives of others and this year’s event at Camp Arnaz is a reflection of everything that makes Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast so special.

On April 25th 2026, guests will gather for an evening that honors not only our incredible Women of Distinction recipients, but also the volunteers, partners, and supporters who continue to shape opportunities for girls across our region. These honorees represent a diverse group of leaders and changemakers whose dedication, service, and commitment have strengthened our communities and inspired the next generation.

That impact can be seen and felt at Camp Arnaz, where girls from across our region come together to learn, grow, and lead. It’s an honor to host this celebration here, in a place that so clearly represents the work we are doing every day. Camp Arnaz is where community happens, and where the support of our honorees and volunteers continues to shape meaningful experiences for girls. At the center of this celebration is Camp Arnaz, a place that has grown into far more than a camp. It is a hub for connection, leadership, and discovery. Throughout the year, girls from across our six-county footprint and more come to Camp Arnaz to try new experiences, build confidence, and develop skills that will carry them far beyond their time in Girl Scouts. From outdoor adventures and equine programs to STEM, leadership, and creative exploration, Camp Arnaz is where girls are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones and discover what they are capable of.

None of this would be possible without the dedication of our volunteers. Across our council, volunteers serve as troop leaders, mentors, event supporters, and advocates; creating spaces where girls feel seen, supported, and empowered. Their commitment is the foundation of everything we do, and Women of Distinction is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate that impact in a meaningful way.

Women of Distinction is more than an event; it is a moment to come together as a community, to recognize those who give so much, and to reflect on the continued growth of Girl Scouts across the Central Coast. It is also an opportunity to invite others into this work, to experience Camp Arnaz firsthand, and to see the direct impact of programs that are shaping confident, capable leaders.

As our council continues to grow, so does our commitment to expanding access and opportunity for every girl. Through the support of our community, we are able to reach more girls, offer more programs, and create experiences that leave a lasting impact. We are honored to celebrate this year’s Women of Distinction and the community that surrounds them.
